Easter is fast approaching!!! This year we are blessed to invite int worship our brethren from Towar Hart Baptist and Bethel Baptist to our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services.
Our Maundy Thursday service will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately one (1) hour [Editor's Note; unless pastor gets a bit long winded and then who knows when we'll be finished!] In all seriousness this service promises to be wonderful time of reflection and introspection for all who attend. It's a spiritually uplifting way to compliment the whole concept of "Holy Week".
This Year, Good friday services will be held at Towar Hart Baptist, beginning at 1:00 p.m.. Pastor Ken Ridge will deliver this year's message. This will be a one (1) hour or less service.
Easter Sunday services have been scheduled as in the past: Sunrise Service at 8:00 a.m., with our famous Deacon's Breakfast immediately following. This is a free breakfast for all, and is a wonderful prelude to our various Sunday Schools (10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.) and our Traditional Service which will begin at 10:45 a.m.
This year we will be baptising following our Traditional Service. If you're interested in being baptised, please contact Pastor Dave ASAP (minimally no later than 2 days before Easter Sunday) for more information. His number is 517, 485-3095 and he is available at this number most week day mornings, except Monday mornings. If he's not available, plese leave a message and he'll return your call as soon as possible.
This is a great time of the year for everyone to understand the significance of what took place at Calvary some 2,000 years ago, but most importantly, to begin or renew their relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
So come and join us and see what you've been missing!
